Event Management Receive alerts of important events, such as a delayed shipment, delivery shortage, or below average carrier performance. Alerts can be setup to trigger on flexible, user-defined criteria. For example, a user could add an alert to be notified via email anytime a shipment is delayed beyond a consignee's requested delivery date. Any of the available fields in eShip can be used as criteria to define an alert. By selecting an available field and a comparison (equal to, greater than, less than, etc), the alert will be triggered when the criteria is reached. Once an alert is triggered, the notification can be viewed in a web page or an email notification of the alert can be sent.
